El 04 de septiembre de 1974, en pleno mes de fiestas patrias, la RCA lanzó JUAN GABRIEL CON EL MARIACHI VARGAS DE TECALITLÁN, el cuarto disco en su carrera y el primero que este cantautor, realiza con 11 temas de corte ranchero, que contó con la producción producción de 2 grandes, grandes, como lo fueron; fueron; Fernando Fernando Z. Maldonado Maldonado y Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez De Hijar. “El Divo de Juárez” como años después se le conocería, nos sorprendió gratamente con este álbum y tuvo tal aceptación por el publico en general, que es el disco más vendido, de los poco más de 40 producciones que grabo en su carrera. Fueron cerca de 2 millones los que vendió este álbum tan solo en México, sin contar con las que se desplazaron en territorios como Estados Unidos y Colombia, que son países que también consumen muy bien la música con mariachi. Ahora en este retorno retorno del vinilo, vinilo, no podía faltar uno de los productos productos más añorados, añorados, por los amantes amantes de la música.
