About the authors:

Walter Ehret is one of the nation's outstanding choral conductors and arrangers. More than 500 of his

octavo arrangements and collections are in print, and he has conducted choral clinics and workshops for

over 200 secondary schools and colleges. Mr. Ehret received his musical training at the Juilliard School of

Music and Columbia University.

George K. Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rice University, a Master of Music degree from the

University of Texas, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the George Peabody College for Teachers.

Dr. Evans has had extensive experience as a music supervisor and choral director in high schools and

colleges and for many years has served as minister of music, choir director, and organist in various churches.
