The tapered tang screw holds the butt stock onto the action.  It is shorter than a military tang screw due to the slender profile of the wrist of the stock.

The two guard screws hold the trigger guard assembly into the receiver. Note the #1 1/2 receiver is narrower (thinner) than either the military receiver (1.31 inches) or the #1 Sporting receiver (1.245 inches) therefor the guard screws should be shorter to accommodate the width of the #1 1/2 receiver.  If you need a set of screws for any of the other rolling block actions see my other listings.

The button screw holds the pin retainer plate over the edges of the Hammer and Breech Block pins to hold them in the action.

All # 1 1/2 actions have a rotary extractor. So, IF your rifle has a bar type extractor it will not be the #1 1/2 sporting model and these screws will not be quite the correct size.
