1985 Cannondale ST400 Touring Bike in exceptional condition, size 21 in continental blue. Shimano 600EX everything. It appears to have original tires, bar tape, hoods, spoke protector and brake pads. If you look at the 1985 catalog, you’ll see this bike. Serial number BB1030, meaning the frame was built in late 1984 for the 1985 model year. The bike was sold new at Shosie’s Cyclery in Loves Park, Illinois.

Paint is beautiful and bright with only minor scratches. One ding on the Cannondale decal on the top tube. None of the corrosion often found on older aluminum frames. No rust on components.

The seat is not the stock Vetta, but a period Avocet WII women’s leather saddle. There is a scuff on the saddle.

This is a super nice survivor with very little use. I bought this on FB Marketplace for a parts bike but it’s so pristine I can’t break it up. I have cleaned it and put air in the tires but have not degreased, lubed, polished or ridden this bike. The pictures tell the story. Will be packaged for shipment with care.
