Mystery Ranch has made a name for itself as the premier outdoors backpack manufacturer.  The brand combines innovative designs with phenomenal construction to create outstanding products that will survive the harshest conditions.  It is no wonder Special Forces like the US Navy SEALs regularly issue Mystery Ranch backpacks.
The Bridger Assault Pack is a massive rucksack meant to comfortably carry everything needed for extended patrols with its 56L capacity.  The example in this listing is one of the first generation ones made from AOR2 camouflage, as seen by its relatively early 2011 date.  At this time, the SATLs were using the BVS (Bolstered Ventilation System) padding on the integrated frame, which was designed for full coverage body armor; this was phased out in 2013 in favor of the NICE system which was meant for more recent scalable body armor  To make do, some users removed the massive BVS cylinders, as was done in this example.  This Mystery Ranch SATL pack was obviously issued and used, as seen by the fading and scuffing on the outside, tape on the straps, as well as small tears on the bottom.  I have decided to keep this item as-is to preserve its history, though it is likely all very repairable (Mystery Ranch has an awesome free repair service that might be able to refurbish this pack if you are interested).
