Pre Pro Whiskey Shot Glass Clermont AAA Levaggi San Francisco, CA Acid Etched

Hard-to-find, thin-walled pre-Prohibition shot glass for Clermont AAA from the Levaggi Company, San Francisco, CA. The company was active in the liquor trade post-earthquake, and were selling whiskey from 1907-1919, at two different addresses: 615 Front St. from 1907-1909 and then 333-339 Clay St. from 1910-1919. They did not continue in the liquor business post-Prohibition.

White-etched design on one side is:
CLERMONT
AAA
LEVAGGI COMPANY
SAN FRANCISCO.

on the other side are measure lines marked with:
A picture of a hog

LADIES

Glass measures 2 inches tall x 1.75 inches in diameter at the rim x 1.375 inches in diameter at the base.

Normal light wear scratches. There is a bit of hard water deposit at the rim, as shown in last photo. I did not want to try to remove this. You may have a favorite product, and you may want to leave it as is.

No chips or cracks.

Great addition to your historic barware collection.
