For sale is an early 20th Century Chinese chess set with blue and pink chess board (made from cardboard) in a fitted box. This item is in its original box and has never been used so in mint condition.
The pieces measure from 5.5cm for a pawn to 7.5cm for the King (all sizes approx.) and are made from bone. The board measures 34cm by 28.5cm and is made from reinforced cardboard.
The complete chess set comes in its original box. Each set of chess pieces is contained on its own tray with pull-tabs at the side. This allows you to lift the tray of items to reach the other piece and finally the chess board.
