COLLECTORS! Johnnie’s Pink is a flamboyant cultivar belonging to the family Acer Palmatum. Among the bright spring colored types, the many colored leaves on Johnnie’s pink are among the ones I enjoy the most in spring and into the summer months. Rivaling any hosta or perennial for flash it comes out with long lobed elegant leaves of a solid lavender pink that slowly migrate into mottled green. Then become green for summer. If it was a country it’s name would be France. Quite hard to describe verbally so-voila! Le photo. Needs good sun and may get 6-8' tall in the landscape Also adapts well to containers and makes a sprightly deck specimen. Item for sale is 5 years old and 28" tall. Item for sale is pictured.
