A real wealth of knowledge and interesting advice on subjects such as budgeting cleaning a sink trap, where to buy food and how to follow the seasons when purchasing how to arrange your kitchen, first aid, what to knit for you baby and much much more.

The book is well loved, the binding on the spine is no longer there but the covers are strong and still held on. One page has been removed in the curds and cheeses section.

The pages are in remarkable condition, especially given their age, a little yellow round the edges.
