Fulper Pottery bottle vase, shape 475 in the Fulper book. It is glazed with a textured mahogany dripping over a dry speckled matte blue. It measures 7 3/4 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at the widest. Early ink mark dates it to about 1910. It is in very good condition with no scratches, cracks or repairs. There is a small gap in the base (see photo) that is filled in with glaze, meaning this happened during manufacturing and is not the result of damage. It does not appear that there was much base grinding applied to this piece. A very nice piece of Fulper with a great contrast between textured and matte glazes.
