The 2015–16 season was a challenging one for Fulham, marked by managerial changes and a battle for survival in the Championship. After a poor start under Kit Symons, Slaviša Jokanović took over managerial duties in December, leading the team to a 20th-place finish, just avoiding relegation. Fulham were knocked out of both the FA Cup and League Cup in the third round. Despite the struggles, Ross McCormack was a standout performer, finishing as the club's top scorer with 23 goals in all competitions.
