Carol Ann Shields, CC OM FRSC (née Warner; June 2, 1935 – July 16, 2003) was an American-born Canadian novelist and short story writer. She is best known for her 1993 novel The Stone Diaries, which won the U.S. Pulitzer Prize for Fiction as well as the Governor General's Award in Canada. See Wikipedia for more biography.


*****The book is in excellent condition. There is a couple of small spots on fore edge and top edge. The dust jacket is in excellent condition. There is very, very light edge wear to DJ. The price on the dust jacket is intact (in pounds). The book is very tight and clean and there are no other writings, no bookplates, no remainder marks, not ex-library, no underlining, etc. The dust jacket is now protected by a Brodart cover. Please see pictures for more detail.
