DV8™ Devil's Hair Electrode

We developed the DV8™ Devil's Hair Electrode fairly recently, and after using the prototype for 30 seconds, it became my new favorite electrode. THESE ELECTRODES WORK ON FULL CONTACT WITH THE SKIN!

This is the first ever soft Violet Wand Electrode. This carbon fiber electrode is about 10 inches long and consists of about 60 strands of carbon fiber, each containing hundreds of individual carbon fibers. It's a contact electrode, meaning there is no need to maintain a distance from the skin, although you can maintain a distance to get longer sparks. 

The Devil's Hair electrode can be extremely sensual or extremely wicked, depending on your wand setting, and works EXTREMELY WELL with the low power units. Let it glide over the body with the wand off, then, while you continue, switch it on (a foot switch is helpful there!). This electrode follows all body contours, enters all nooks and crannies (and cracks, lol!). YOU WILL LOVE IT!

As with all our electrodes, start with a very low setting to not overpower the person being treated!

All DV8™ High Performance Electrodes (see more in other listings) were designed with the comparatively weak Chinese and Ukrainian wands in mind, which are often sold as "D'Arsonval" High Frequency Units for as low as $ 25.00 including shipping, right here on eBay. Never mind what you read on Fet and elsewhere, using our High Performance Electrodes, you get stimulation so strong with these units, that most people can't be treated with them at full power.

Used with regular Violet Wands, these electrodes cause the strongest sensations you can feel from a Violet Wand bar none. No glass electrode comes even close.

All DV8™ High Performance Electrodes are as safe as any glass electrode. The Spark Gap insures, that you and the people you play with are safe, even if the Violet Wand has a catastrophic failure!

 The Aluminum Connector is precision made on a lathe and semi-transparent Nylon is used for the spark gap isolator, so you don't have to trust me that there is a spark gap, you can see it.

They are nevertheless HIGH INTENSITY ELECTRODES. Therefore this WARNING: Always start at lowest wand setting and be ready to remove, if stimulation is too strong. These Electrodes can cause burns!

All DV8™ High Performance Electrodes are available in 4 sizes:

7/16" US standard size (most new and old units)

11.25 mm, which is the size of most (all?) Chinese units

12 mm for the Ukrainian "D'Arsonval" units and very few of the old West European violet ray units from the 30's to 50's (the best-known examples are Radiostat/Radiolux, Vio and Ideal).

Nevertheless, most old European units (1980s and before) take 11 mm. Of the modern European units, all but those from Eastern Europe also use 11 mm.

Finally, there is the 10 mm size used by some of the antique units, which were made by Carl Haider GmbH, Munich, Germany in the 1930s. We do not stock units for this device, but can make them as a custom order. Please contact us if you need one.
