The Albanian Red Hot Pepper is a rare heirloom variety from the Albanian-Macedonian region that was discovered by pepper lovers. They had seeds sent to them by a Turkish friend who says that it is famously used by Turkish villagers in the making of their local chili powder.

Wholeheartedly "Very Sweet" almost cherry like sweet with rich long lasting taste of acidic-heat without any bitterness. By all means, this pepper is a true treasure, when we used it fresh it was mouth watering, when we made some into powders. It has it's own unique sweet lightly acidic and sour flavor which we didn't experience in any other peppers. No need to smoke this pepper, it has it's own woody/mushroomy aroma

This type of shin is referred to as "Vezeni" meaning embroidered and the longer you leave it on the plant the more embroidered it gets!
