‘The Aeroplane’ was a British magazine founded in 1911 and published on a weekly basis during the early years of aviation and air travel. It was dedicated to pilots, would-be flyers and those with a keen interest in all things to do with flying. It was known for its articles on early aircraft construction, flying techniques and all the latest information on aircraft technology.

This advert is for a huge collection of 600 issues, dated between 1911 – 1922, all of which have been scanned in high quality and preserved forever on a DVD data disc – providing an absolute treasure trove of valuable information for anyone with an interest in aviation history! Each magazine has been scanned in full including all of the vintage advertisements from the era - see photos for examples.

This collection is also likely to appeal to anyone with an interest in World War 1 (WW1) as during the war years, the magazine almost doubled in size with many articles devoted to the airplanes of the Allied forces and Axis aircraft.

Providing literally 1,000's pages of great content, fabulous articles, illustrations and period photographs - all of the issues are presented in pdf format, easy to read on your computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone or kindle / e-reader. You can also print entire issues or selected pages.
