Auction includes 5 Brand new OEM Ford Super Duty cab lights also called running lights or called Clearance lights, with required mounting nuts with a 5 plug OEM Ford factory wiring harness, bulbs, and installation hardware kit, consisting of a spring center punch, bi-metal hole saw bit and a standard drill bit for for 1999 - 2016 Ford Super Duty F250 F350 F450 F550 F650 F750 and Excursion. We will also have the exact size of the drill bits required written on the template and basic instructions written on the template.
******** We give you an accurate paper template to drill the 15 holes needed to install all the lights correctly. ( 3 holes per light) We see other sellers offering direction or instructions but directions are worthless alone without an exact drilling template to use.
You can be sure that you project will go as planned by knowing you will not drill a hole in the wrong location during the install. Miss drilling a hole in the wrong place can cause a leak and damage your headliner or you may need costly bodywork to repair the mistake.
Electrical hook up is Very easy. Most of these (99-07) trucks already have the plug that these plug into behind the passenger side kick panel. This harness runs up the passenger side A pillar, you would just plug into the existing connector.
On the 2008 -2016 Trucks the Wiring harness could possibly require modifications and or splicing. on 08-16 trucks the wiring harness runs down the Driver A pillar. If your vehicle does not directly plug in you can cut off the electrical plug and hook up the Negative wire to any metal support in the roof for ground or you can run both wires down to kick panel area, and run the other wire to your parking light circuit so that they only come on when your lights are on. This uses a simple 2 wire 12 volt system. We can Custom Build any Cab Light Harness additional cost, please message us for details.
You can also install these on most ford pickups vans and utility trucks, Ford Explorer, Ford Bronco, Ford Excursion, Ford F150, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, you will have to splice into the running light circuit to provide power for them.
