The joystick on the controller is original, but loose (on a scale of 1-10, I would rate the stick to be a 6-7 in tightness with a noticeable worn feel to it. However, the loose stick did not cause any drifting issues while testing the controller)
Region-Free Information
The internal plastic piece that causes the system to be region-locked has been replaced with a new one that allows the system to play games from any region, including US games. Replacing this piece caused no damage to the console.
