The current run of Amazing Spider-Man has left much to be desired, but that's not to say there also haven't been a few high points ... or at least, one high point! HALLOW'S EVE is a wickedly cool character -- and we're not just saying that because Halloween is our favorite holiday here at Sasquatch Comics. Nearly a third of our customers dress as Bigfoot for our Annual Halloween Bash -- which you might think is highly appropriate, given the name of the shop, and in all fairness, it is. But when another third of our customers actually are Bigfoots, well, you can probably see where we're coming from.
But we digress. Hallow's Eve, with her magic bag full of Halloween masks, is a very straightforward yet thus-far never used approach to examining the power of masks, especially psychologically, in our lives, and how they influence our personalities and otherwise shape our lives. In a way, with her very physical masks, Janine Godbe is a great character to explore the superhero genre from a vantage point we don't often get to see.
