Antique (c 1900 - 1905) Pallme Konig (or Perhaps Loetz) Uranium Glass Biscuit Jar. When I purchased this jar years ago for my personal collection, it was listed a Pallme Konig but Loetz has also been suggested. This is a wonderful piece, off white iridescent with swirls of amber/orange throughout, with an intense glow when under a blacklight. I would assume that it would have to have been hand blown based on similar makers and styles of the same time period. In addition, the sides have an 'indented' feature which I tried to capture in the pictures. I would imagine this done in the blowing process to add unique character to the jar. Underneath the silver plated lid it reads "Warren Silver Plate Company Quadruple Plate". Online research suggests that stamp was first used in 1901. A gorgeous piece whether displayed on a shelf or under blacklight in a case. Jar is 5.5"+ wide, 7.5 inches from bottom to top of finial on lid, 10.5 inches to top of handle when turned upward.
Beautiful condition, no chips. Silver plated lid is tarnished from age and wear from handling. Please see pics and feel free to message with any questions. Will be shipped safely, securely, and with tracking.
