Primal Fear was formed by ex-Gamma Ray vocalist Ralf Scheepers with Matt Sinner and other Sinner members. They have been leading the German metal scene for a quarter century and have released a new album! This time, they will deliver the purest heavy metal. Mixing and mastering were done by master Jacob Hansen.
Primal Fear is a heavy metal band formed by Ralf Scheepers (Vo), who left Gamma Ray, together with other Sinner members Matt Sinner (B), Tom Naumann (G), and Klaus Sperling (Dr). Since their formation in 1997, they have led the German scene for a quarter century with the purest heavy metal as their weapon. Their 13th studio album, Metal Command, released in 2020, was a huge commercial success, reaching number 7 on the charts in their home country of Germany. Primal Fear will be releasing their first new album in three years.
This album, titled Code Red, is a blast of Primal Fear's usual style. They are a band with strong convictions that do not change in a good way. The three guitarists are once again at their best. From start to finish, there is no trace of anything other than heavy metal in the 11 songs. If you are asked what heavy metal is, just listen to Primal Fear and you will understand. As always, the master Jacob Hansen was in charge of mixing and mastering.
