Vintage West Germany Mercury Glass Walnut Christmas Ornament Gold  2.25" this does have a hairline crack near crown that I tried show with last pictures does not seem to affect the ornament I am sure it is a little less solid.  Not sure of the age but it does look to be not as old as some as this crown is very bright and shiny.
