This rare and collectible book is a must-have for any space exploration enthusiast. Written by John Glenn, Jr., NASA astronaut and American hero, Letters to John Glenn is a first edition, hardcover book published by World Book, New York in 1964. This relatively rare book is inscribed and signed by the author, making it a very unique piece for any collector. The book covers Glenn's experience as the first American to orbit the Earth, and his journey to become one of the most famous astronauts in history

The book itself is in good condition with no writing or tears. However, at some point this 1964 book became slightly wet. Let me carefully explain and be completely transparent. See the top of the book where there is a water stain. Fortunately, the stain does not affect the tops of the pages (please see pictures).  Also, the lower bottom section of the back of the book reveals some water stains (see pictures). Although the first 248 pages show no water stains the last few pages and the inside back cover do (again please see pictures). The dust jacket, however, is in Good to Very Good condition with no stains only a bit of edge wear and one small tear to the  bottom front corner. Please look at the photos to see this better. I have attempted to accurately describe all of the book's flaws and to price this book to reflect its condition.
