I bought this lens to allow a normal focal length, slightly wide, in an X series X-E2 camera to make it as portable as possible. It made the camera and lens small enough to fit in a coat pocket or a belt bag from Dome easily. It was used for street photography a couple of times, but has been in the lens bag in a Pelican case in my studio ever since. Glass and mechanical is perfect.
