Welcome
to our auction! Many of you know us as longtime collectors and sellers of
antique and vintage Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter holiday memorabilia,
paper ephemera, antique dolls and toys and fine jewelry. We are also given the
honor of selling fine and rare pieces for other collectors.
Over the next several weeks, I will be listing more incredible pieces from some
of our hobby’s most well-respected and knowledgeable collectors. I am
celebrating more than 20 years of finding new homes for such wonderful
treasures on eBay!
Flying on their favorite modes of transportation, their brooms, these two “lovely”
ladies are FRIGHTfully fantastic diecut witch decorations. Their maker is quite
the mystery!
Made from heavy paper stock, these two even have their original prices of a whopping
8 cents and 5 cents respectively.
The larger one measures just under 12” across. Her little coven sister measures
8 ¾” tall.
I have never seen these witches before! I am assuming they must be quite RARE. While
their exact age is unknown, they appear to hail from circa 1920s or 1930s.
The exact condition is as follows:
The
larger witch has several creases to her broomstick, a crease to her hat brim,
and a crease and softening to the hat tip. There is also a tiny pinhole. There
are tiny creases on her boot tips. Her little sister has two creases to her
cape, and one tiny pinhole.
These two display BOOOtifully, especially when shown together. Their reddish-orange
and black coloring is striking, and they would make an outstanding addition to
any collection of unusual Hallowe'en memorabilia and hard-to-find holiday paper
ephemera.

$12.00 USPS Priority Mail Insured in the continental United States. The
shipping costs for this item are an estimate and may be less depending on your

We pack with tender loving care, and whenever possible, we will combine
shipping if you are buying more than one item. We’re also happy to arrange for
free pick-up if you can come to Lancaster PA.
