Lens is in rough shape but works. The body has some dents, a deep scratch, and indentations on the focus ring. Received impact damage, and the focus grinds when moving between 2 and 3 feet. Focus ring is fine outside of that range though. Aperture is fairly smooth. It has had a ‘hard mount’ conversion from it's native Nikon mount to a Canon mount by Duclos, which costs $150. This could be removed, to return it to the original Nikon mount. This Nikon version of the lens is preferable for cinema use because it has an aperture ring, whereas the native Canon version does not.

This could be a good option for someone to get an Otus at an extremely low price, or potentially use it for parts. While the body is in poor shape, the glass should still be great and it is capable of making excellent images. Given the damage, sold as-is with no returns. Includes rear lens cap, no front cap. Includes lens hood.

UPDATE: I've had a number of people ask for sample images from the lens. Here are some from my last shoot with it (in May). Lens is in same condition it was back then. These are stills pulled from RED Raptor video. Great lens!
