On offer is this fine art deco pendant powder compact dating circa 1920 and measuring 4 cm in diameter. This powder compact is made of sterling silver. It is marked on the bale with small silver marks which are no longer decipherable but also tests positive for sterling grade silver. The compact has fabulous baby blue guilloche enamel to the front and back with wonderful engine turned design beneath the vitreous coating. At the top of the compact is a silver bale so that the compact could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The inset lid has firm and secure hinge and opens to reveal a gilded interior and has a clear and reflective mirror under the lid.
This excellent quality antique powder compact is offered in very good condition. The case has no dents or dings and the guilloche has no chips, cracks or scratches. Thank you for your interest.
