Vintage Duplex pocket watch by Charles Benedict gold filled case in good condition not working, the gold filled case is in good to very good condition with no bad scratches dents or staining, it just has a little wear a few small marks and 1/2 small dents in the back cover, the front and back covers are plain gold and around the outer case is a coined edging all good, take the back off to get to the movement, the movement looks clean but not working, it's a gilt movement with a crown and stem 7 jewels a duplex escapement with a 3/4 plate a patterned balance wheel with a rub end stone, on the movement is Charles Benedict trade mark U.S.A, when shaken the balance swings the way it should, the dial is white enamel with black roman numerals and a sub second dial at 6 o'clock, it has no chips or staining but does have 2/3 faint hairlines but the dial is still in good condition, all the hands are there and they are in very good condition, the crown will wind and sets the hands has it should, when winding it's not holding it's wind so the watch is not working, the watch is 52.1mm in diameter with out the crown and 18.1mm thick with the glass, the glass is in good condition but it does have marks on it, this is a nice Duplex pocket watch in a nice gild filled case in good condition bit not working, i am selling it sold has seen needs attention, please look at my photos and bid postage outside the UK will be extra.
