1886 Fob pocket watch solid silver case in very good condition not working, the solid silver case is in very good condition with no bad scratches dents or staining, it has little wear and just a few small marks on it. the front cover case and back cover are all very well decorated with the back cover also having a vacant cartouche in the middle, push the button down on top of the neck and the back will spring open, on the inside back cover is the Lion for 925 silver an anchor for Birmingham a date letter for 1886 and a case makers mark L. C. there is a dust cover over the movement which is also in very good condition, it has little wear and just a few small marks on it, open it and it has the same silver hallmarks on it, the gilt movement looks very clean but not working, it's key wound and set a key will be supplied with 11 jewels a bridge plate with 3 fingers a cylinder escapement a plain balance cock with a ruby end stone,  the dial is white enamel with black roman numerals and a floral pattern in the middle, it has no chips or staining but does have a couple of hairlines, the dial is in good condition, all the hands are there they are in good condition, the key supplied will wind and set the hands has it should but the watch is not working, the balance is fine and some times it works for minutes and then stops, the watch is 40.6mm in diameter with out the neck and 11.6mm thick with the glass, all the hinges are in good condition and working well, the glass is also in very good condition with little wear or marks on it, this is a very nice solid silver fob pocket watch in very good condition but not working, please look at my photos and bid postage outside the UK will be extra.
