In early 1943, the US Army produced small quantities of the two-piece herringbone duck hunter camouflage uniform, which was based on the M1942 fatigue uniform to be produced. During the Normandy landing, it was equipped with the Second Armored Division, and at the end of World War II, it was also equipped with the Army of the Pacific Theater. The USMC's two-piece camouflage suits are divided into two versions, P42 and P44. The Army has only this one. Due to limited concealment in Europe and accidental injuries, it was quickly discontinued, and the surplus was used in the Korean War and even the early Vietnam War was present.
