Publishing – The book was copyrighted by the author in 1929.  The first paperback edition was published by Bantam Books in 1948 as Bantam Book No. 355.  This is one of the stated 1948 First Printings.

Condition - The book is complete and tightly bound.  The covers of the book have multiple creases (see images).  The spine edge is chipped at the extremes and is rolled forward. There are no markings in the book. Pages are age toned but supple. A few pages in the front and in the back of the book have small marginal edge chips. There are no missing, loose, creased or marked pages. The book is in acceptable condition.
