Here we have a superb Vintage Italian V.B. Opaline Art Glass Jug / Pitcher. this piece was made at the Vetreria Barbieri Glassworks, based near to the town of Empoli, in Tuscany, Southern Italy, around 1964-65. this Classic Piece is Typical of the Designs and Colour Schemes that the Company became Famous for in the 70s and early 80s, and are often mistaken for pieces designed and produced by Italian Art Glass Supremo, Carlo Morreti. the Jug itself is made from White Milk Glass, with a Spouted, Flared Rim, Ending in Dual Hoops. the bottom half of the Vase is a Chunky, Bulbous Shape, Decorated with a Shades Of Brown, Olive Green, Pulled Feather Pattern. the Jug is Complimented with an Applied Twisted, Clear Crystal Glass Handle.

Although pre-owned, this jug remains in superb excellent all round condition. there are no chips, cracks, nibbles or fleabites anywhere on the piece, and very, very little signs of any age related shelf or handling wear.
