Detex Patrol Watchman's Clock from the Detex Corporation of New York, Boston, Atlanta and Chicago. Manufactured in 1920-49 and retired in 2011, to my knowledge these clocks were used to measure time spent between key stations along a patrol route. Leather case is complete and in very fair condition given the age, including the strap. Plenty of patina. It retains the branding label and clock bezel shield, glass is intact. 5.75" in diameter & 2.75" in thickness. The mechanical movement is all there although unknown functionality, purchased in rural Virginia. It comes with two Detex keys of different designs, chains included.
