This is a brand new KITCHENAID Basting spoon.  This spoon is black with an Aqua (AQA) handle and silver trim.  The basting spoon is strong and durable, safe for all cookware, including non stick, is dishwasher safe and heat resistant up to 450*F  I believe this is made of nylon and the handle is plastic.
