- Car won't start (start and then die right away).
- The millage does not show up intermittently.
- Odometer and one or more gauges OFF intermittently.

- If the temperature and fuel gauge always shows a half way no matter the actual condition should be (let say you know that the engine is cold, the gas is full tank), this is not repairable beyond reasonable cost. The only option is to replace it.

start and running. You can use a speedometer app on your smart phone, or use GPS
as temporary speedometer. But this is must be treated as temporary/emergency
