Assembled by Salty Dog Marine - The Aussie 4:1 Jib Halyard Kit
allows the 16 sailor to increase the tension on their jib and tighten
their rigging. The tighter rig in turn, will keep the jib luff from sagging
off which will allow the 16 to point higher than a stock boat.

Our kit is built around a new full-length forestay and matches the system
installed by the Hobie Cat® Co. on their 1980's National Boats. Simply
remove your existing upper and lower forestay assembly and connect
the new forestay. This kit will fit the 1971 through 2008 Hobie Cat® 16
and comes with instructions. The forestay is constructed of 1/8" (3.2mm)
1x19 stainless non-coated wire. Each end is double nicro pressed with
stainless steel thimbles. This kit is assembled by our experienced
rigging crew and custom made to current specifications.
