* Cinnamon basil has a very unique flavor profile and it adds a lot of flavor to teas, cookies and pies.

* It is also referred to as Holy basil and is said to spicy, aromatic and flavorful.

* Cinnamon basil is reported to be an excellent mosquito and bug repelling plant because it's so fragrant!

* Cinnamon basil is a tender perennial but can be Fall sown in warmer climates or container grown indoors.

* This Non-GMO heirloom Basil is spectacular when grown as Bonsai.  It'll develop nice woody stems that are well suited for Bonsai.  As a bonus, you can harvest the delicious leaves!!

* This  Cinnamon Basil is reported to be Mosquito repelling , also known as Mexican Sweet Basil and Holy Basil, is aromatic, flavorful and is spicy!

* It has a very ornamental look and would be perfect in an edible landscaping design.  It has purplish stems and purple veining in the bright green serrated leaves.  It's just an awesome looking Basil with great flavor to match!

* If Cinnamon Basil is allowed to flower, the flower color will be a beautiful pink.  However, harvesting Basil leaves when in flower, can produce a more bitter leaf.

* Basil is a great herb to grow for beginners.  It is pretty demand free and only requires about 6-8 hours of sunlight a day.

* Basil is a superb plant for container gardening and balconies as it is reported to have strong insect and Mosquito repellent traits.  It does very well in confined spaces like decks and small backyards.

* Basil, however, is probably most noted for being a wonderful companion plant for tomatoes and other garden vegetables because it discourages Whiteflies which are disease vector insects.

* This Non-GMO heirloom Basil is actually a Perennial but most popular as an annual.  If you're in a northern region and plant your Basil in containers, you could bring them indoors in the Fall and grow them as a spectacular houseplant or Bonsai!

* It is also wonderful when used in Potpourris and dried flower arrangements!

Seeds are packaged in a small poly bag. In an effort to keep costs low, and pass the savings onto you, we do not offer specific planting directions on seed packets. If you cannot locate planting instructions for your specific conditions, contact us and we'll do our best to instruct you on the proper methods.
