To prolong the beauty of your plated jewellery it is recommended to remove before taking a shower and to avoid contact with perfume and lotions.  When not being worn store your bracelets in the pouch they were delivered in and away from direct sunlight, ideally in a jewellery box or drawer.  This is the standard advice given by most jewellery companies.
