Up for sale, an Emerson USA ELD all-sterling flute. I'm cleaning out the music shelf of all the old-timers and oddballs. This flute was fairly heavily oxidized and I gave it about 5 minutes of a wipe-down with a silver cloth. The finish looks quite nice below the oxidation (and will continue to improve with additional elbow grease invested - yours however and not mine). This appears to be a relatively late model flute based on the logo's and script on the instrument (please view all enlarged pics). All joints are marked Sterling Silver. Pads look fairly good though I would encourage a buyer to have a technician go through the instrument and make any needed adjustments or repairs prior to play. I'm not a tech and can't make any final statements here.
Of NOTE: I see one fairly good sized ding on the back of the head-joint (opposite side from the lip plate). Otherwise, I do not see any flaws of note.
Unfortunately, I DO NOT HAVE A CASE for this instrument, sorry! I will pack for survival.
I'm seeing dealers with similar horns (same script/vintage) with prices around $900 (used price).
US bidders/buyers only please. This will ship tracked and insured.
