CONDITION

In the publisher's pictorial cloth binding with gilt detail. Externally, smart with shelf wear to the edges and spine. Tears to the spine. Spine is darkened. Marks to the boards. Bookseller's label to the front paste-down. Library blind stamp to the front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Binding strained on page 66 and 85. A tear and creasing to the frontispiece tissue guard. A closed tear to the plate on page 81. Pages generally bright and clean with some light age-toning to the edges and the occasional mark.
