Description: 7 volumes (all published), folio; original cloth and cloth over boards, a good set or better, with moderate wear, staining (as below), and some light foxing to the prelims and terminals. A famous periodical on the printing arts and bibliographical study, with numerous color and black & white illustrations, tip-ins, facsimiles, type samples, ornaments, and specimens, some folding, and with a host of influential contributors: Stanley Morison, Holbrook Jackson, D. B. Updike, W.A. Dwiggins, Frederic Warde, J. Van Krimpen, and others. A good, and still reasonably sound set, from the library of Kim Merker. Volume I with waterstain along lower edge of front cover and affecting flyleaves, but not any letterpress; volume II in slipcase and with slight waterstain along the lower edge, not affecting text block; volume III in slightly torn dust jacket; volume IV in a slightly torn dust jacket; volume V with waterstain at lower edge of cover, not affecting text block; volume VI in a torn dust jacket; volume VII with the bookplate of Paul Johnson, with an inserted article by him on Frederick W. Goudy inserted, and signed by him.
