Offering a rare vintage and restored 1940's AMPERITE Model RAH Ribbon Microphone. Based in New York City, Amperite produced some of the most unique as well as classic designs of its day, and quickly the name spread in the NYC night-club scene, P.A. and broadcast/recording facilities. A bit smaller than RCA's 74B, this model RAH sports a more simplistic industrial exterior, but is quite a fine ribbon microphone, both for recording studio or live performance

The Medium Gray metal casing is in nice restored condition. The original 1940's ribbon motor (which is typical on these old Amperites) had weakened and was no longer viable, so we have installed a new superior ribbon motor and transformer, providing a rich smooth audio profile with strong output. The support yoke is original, and a new 5 foot shielded connecting cable is included, 3 pin male Amphenol plug to male XLR plug.. The basic display desk stand is also included.  Overall height is 13". ** Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping.
