Marks & Spencer dark almond green linen jacket blazer fitted pocket sz 20 *flaw*.

This lightweight jacket has rather lovely lapels, a chunky one button closure and dual pockets in a chore style so you'd almost expect it to be boxy however it then has a rather fanned tail to the back, giving some wave to the hem and more of a tailored blazer shape. The style of the back means it is ever so slightly shorter in the rear by about an inch over the front.

The full length photo is slightly warmer than the piece is in real life. The colour is described on the label as dark almond which to me means a dark brown which this most definitely isn't it. It is olive but a paler linen olive or pale khaki.

The flaw I have highlighted have nothing to do with the wearable part of the jacket. It is simply that the brand collar label has been removed and the laundry label has been partly cut to remove the branding but I can say with confidence it is most definitely a Marks and Spencer piece, maybe removed for the shame of trying to describe it as a dark almond colour!

Linen is a natural textile and as such has inconsistencies in its appearance, especially when it is pure linen or has a high linen content. These are not faults, merely the look of the material so please take this into consideration.
