This is a stick or twig made square planter holder with a terra cotta planter/vase.  There is styrofoam or some material in planter that will hold artificial or silk flowers.  It may can be removed so that you can put dirt in to use for live flowers/plant.  I've not tried to remove it.  I will leave that to the new owner.
