    How to Replace a Power Window Motor?

    1. Remove Door Panel
    2. Gently Remove the Plastic Door Cover
    3. Locate the Window Mounting Bolts
    4. Raise the Window Glass up into the Door Frame
    5. Use Mask Table to Secure the Window Glass in Place
    6. Locate and Remove the Window Regulator Mounting Bolts
    7. Disconnect the Motor Wiring Harness Connector
    8. Remove the Motor and Regulator through Access Port
    9. Slide the New Motor and Regulator back into Place
    10. Reconnect the Electrical Connector
    11. Insert the Window Mounting Bolts
    12. Install the Plastic Liner and Interior Panel

     

    How do I know if my window regulator is bad?

    • It takes multiple presses to roll the window up or down.
    • Operate the glass lift switch, the lift responds, but the glass does not act.
    • Window speed is slower or faster than usual.
    • Clicking from the door when the window rolls up or down. There is abnormal noise in the process of glass lifting and falling.
    • Halfway up the glass stopped moving
