The rug comes from a smoke free and pet free home. The binding is in excellent condition. The fringe looks like it was professionally removed and replaced with binding . All four sides have binding. The pile is full and thick with no wear on it. With any used rug there could be some fading. The rug was professionally cleaned before it was listed. The Karastan factory has closed down according to the NY Times issue dated June 6 , 2021. Therefore the rugs will not be made any longer .
