20 book lot Harlequin Intrigue, Romantic Suspense published 2023-2024

We have been in the book and periodical business since 1973, beginning with a $1.80/hour job working for Armstrong News in Winston-Salem, NC. In 1978 we worked briefly for a used book store in Mount Airy, NC, and in 1979 we bought the store and turned it into Pages, Books and Magazines, where we sold new and used books, magazines, comics and other eclectic items. In 2005 we sold the new book-and-magazine part of the store. The used books, comics, records and old magazines that we had accumulated through the years were relocated, in part, to the antique mall across the street. In 2010, we left the antique mall and opened Yesterdays in the lower level of the old Rose's department store building, where we had much more room for our extensive inventory. In 2016, we closed Yesterdays and donated 20,000 used books to the Friends of the Mount Airy Public Library, who opened Between the Covers Bookshop on Main Street. Mount Airy, the hometown of Andy Griffith, is also known as Mayberry, and as we say  'round here, when you do business with us, we 'preciate it.
