First appearance of Dane Whitman in "Magneto Walks the Earth!" Script by Roy Thomas. Pencils by John Buscema. Inks by George Tuska. Cover by Don Heck and Frank Giacoia. Magneto is back on Earth! And his first priority is reviving the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants! And to do that he sets a trap for two of Earth's Mightiest Heroes! After Magneto and the Toad subdue Dane Whitman and his assistant in Garrett Castle, they send a phony distress call to Avengers Mansion! When the mutant twins respond to the call, the ruse is revealed! And the battle begins! Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch vs. the Master of Magnetism! Oh my, do Pietro and Wanda have a chance vs. Magneto? An awesome issue! Cameo appearances by the Black Widow and Whirlwind. Flashback cameos by Iron Man and Nathan Garrett to recap the death of the villainous Black Knight in Tales of Suspense #73. Avengers Lineup: Hawkeye, Goliath (aka Hank Pym), Hercules, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and the Wasp. (Notes: Captain America leaves the Avengers in this issue. Magneto previously appeared in Uncanny X-Men (1963 1st series) #18. Wanda and Pietro left the brotherhood in Uncanny X-Men #11. This issue was reprinted in Marvel Triple Action #39.) 32 pages.
