With this fantastic lot, you get a broad spectrum of history as only Osprey presents.  Maps, photos, charts, painted action scenes and of course the text.

The Plains Wars covering the Native Americans struggling against the US Army from Washita and Rosebud, to the Souix uprising (around Granite Falls and Echo Minnesota), and of course Custer and Little Bighorn.     The Marshall Islands covering the lead up and assaults on Japanese forces in Kwajalein and Eniwetok, among other islands.  The Code Talkers describing use of Navajo and Comanches by the Marines and Army to have undecipherable messages from the battlefield.   Japan 1945 covering lead up to potential invasion of the homeland, including last battles and B-29 raids as well as atomic bomb drops. And US Army Forces in Korean War covering the organization of Army units during the Korean War - with order of battles of units all the way down to individual soldiers in squads and how they changed through the course of the war, as well as M26 Pershings and M46 Pattons, M24 Chaffee, M19 AA, and M4 Sherman tanks and 105 and 155 mm howitzers and other equipment per unit.

The Code Talkers is Like New.  The others each have a minor ding/dent somewhere on them - see blow up photos.   You can see from photo with four books that the Marshall Islands has a small tear in the laminate spine webbing that doesn't impact its integrity, the Korean War has one corner bent (can see in the 'pages' close-up photo that this does carry though the book - it doesn't impact the print or the photos), the Japan has a very small bend on one corner of the cover, and the Plains Wars circular marks on the back.  The photo of two books shows the same Korean War bent corner but from the back this time, as well as scratch on the Marshal front cover.   All are minor and don't impact how they look on the shelf (i.e. facing spines are nice).
