The Optimus 88 cook kit is all aluminum. The cook kit includes a windshield, a pot support, 2 cooking
vessels (1 1/3 and 1 pint), and a pot grip/handle. The smaller container can be used as a lid or frying
pan.
The cook kit was lightly used. The windscreen and base have a few minor dings, which can be seen in
the listed photos. Overall, for its age, the unit is in very good condition.

Joining the cook kit is a Primus #71, which is the Primus version of the usually included Svea 123. The
Primus burns white fuel (refined gas), holds approximately 1/3 of a pint, and will bring a quart of water to boil in
about 6 minutes. This Primus 71 is from the 1970s. The Primus 71 stove is all brass. The stove has not been
used in a few years, but it was working well the last time out. The “tulip” burner unscrews and nests with
the stove base inside the Optimus 88 cook kit for backpacking.

When the kit is packed it is 6 1/2" in diameter and 4" tall.
