This item isn't a remote,this is just a key shell case,there is no interior(remote board,electronics,transponder chip) inside.
Easy and simple replacement is go to local locksmith/dealer/swap to cut the blade, then take the internal electronics (immobilizer/transponder chip) from original remote and place them to shell.
